Each project we work on is unique. From initial design ideas and conception, through to project completion, we’ll work closely with you to ensure the end result exceeds their expectations. Our design process begins with an initial meeting which is an important opportunity to talk through your budget and ideas. In addition, we’ll also use this time to look closely at any possible opportunities or site constraints, such as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or Listed Building Status. Once this initial consultation stage is complete, we’ll create a bespoke brief that closely considers your requirements and aspirations for the project.

In terms of possible pool design options, swimming pool installation doesn’t necessarily have to be restricted by your property’s footprint. A number of options might be a basement bool or an extension or a detached pool building to complement the exterior landscape. In addition, depending on your requirements, there may be an opportunity to include a spa, for example, whilst a basement pool can be the ideal solution for homes in urban locations.

We have extensive experience of designing swimming pools in a range of locations including Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, National Parks, Listed buildings and properties in conservation areas. Finding design solutions in areas such as these can prove challenging, however we’ll use our experience to seek pre-planning advice if required.

Once these initial stages have been completed, we’ll prepare the necessary building regulations drawings, whilst coordinating other consultants such as surveyors, for example. It is during this stage of a project that we will seek competitive tenders from experienced pool builders and pool contractors. Finally, once the building stage is underway, we will carry out regular site visits and inspections.
