Horsley Townsend Architects was established in 2001 by Bill Horsley and Guy Townsend and we are now in our 21st year. The majority of our work is in Yorkshire and the North of England. However our portfolio includes work in Dorset, Kent, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Republic of Ireland.

We are an established team of architects with expertise in the design and planning of equestrian facilities. From the design of stable blocks and horse walker stations, through to indoor riding arenas and American barns, we provide and complete equestrian design service for clients throughout the UK

Equine planning

A successful project outcome relies upon thorough planning. Here at Horsley & Townsend our equine planning services will ensure your project gets off to a great start. We’ll carry out any feasibility studies which may be required, before obtain all necessary planning permissions.
